Bayelsa State, South-South Region, Nigeria, West Africa is among hardest hit region of the world, by extensive, sporadic effects of climate change, especially the issue of global warming.

The communities are now something else, and people of different classes are no more at ease with the present situation.

In Nigeria there is very little awareness and interest on climate change. As such we started an online social network called Climate Cool Nigeria.

This is a network to share information on climate change and other related issues.

The Nigeria Ministry of environment held a round table discussion on climate change with the support of development partners, in Abuja Nigeria (Nigeria's federal capital).

The meeting had in attendance stakeholders in environment and climate issues, including the Nigeria national Petroleum corporation - a major player in the climate change challenges.

Global warming: What the world is worried about?

My worries and suggested mitigation to global warming.

Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans. increasing in greenhouse gas concentrations resulting from human activity such as fossil fuel burning and deforestation are responsible for most of the observed temperature increase.
